Behind every session lies a significant investment in professional-grade equipment: high-resolution cameras, premium lenses, color-calibrated monitors, and specialized lighting. I also maintain robust editing software, secure cloud and physical storage, regular equipment maintenance, and liability insurance. Add to that the ongoing costs of subscriptions, administrative support, design resources, and countless behind-the-scenes hours spent on pre-production, travel, meticulous culling, and final retouching.

Taxes are another essential part of that equation—like any small business owner, I pay self-employment and income taxes which together can easily consume 30–40% of my gross revenue. That is a meaningful and recurring expense that simply has to be factored in. I mention this not as a talking point, but because transparency matters to me, and I want you to feel confident that my pricing is grounded in reality, not guesswork.
